Jules Cuisine Junior Classes
Kids and teens will be encouraged to try new tastes and ingredients while cooking at Jules Cuisine Junior, introducing them to a wide range of locally sourced foods.
I find children are more likely to try and explore new ingredients usually once they have prepared and cooked the dish themselves, and more importantly when they see other kids eating the same.
My classes are very hands on and interactive. Each child will have are their own workstation and will create their own main course and dessert which can be eaten at the school , or taken home to eat.
I concentrate on nutrition and a healthy balanced diet which means nutritious foods that are appealing to the younger generation. This does not mean no sugars or fats, but a healthy balance.
They will also be taught the importance of food hygiene and safety, and ingredients will be home grown, organic and sourced locally where possible.
Every class is designed so that everything is provided, including all ingredients. Eco-friendly packaging with the meals (if they’ve not already been eaten!) and a A4 binder with the days recipes.
